Caladium
is a genus of plant of the New World. It originated in the
humid, tropical area of Peru and the Amazon River of Brazil
and its family is Aracaceae.
Caladiums
have wide variation in the colors and marking of the attractive,
large, single-bladed leaves, which rise on long stalks from
freshy, underground bulblike corms.
