AGLAONEMA : AGLAONEMA - Chinese Evergreen plants are in the family of Araceae, the native of southern China, Burma, Thailand, Borneo, Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia. The genus Aglaonema consists of around 30 species. These plants dwell on the jungle floor, so they are well suited to life in low light areas. Today Aglaonema are amongst the very best of foliage house plants. Aglaonemas have been selected for easy growing, good compact growth habit and showy colorful foliage. At present, Thai Aglaonema breeders are very active and Aglaonema hybrids from Thailand are vary in colors, forms and some hybrids are very productive.
